Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large apples, peeled and diced into small cubes
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F . Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with butter or coconut oil. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, vanilla extract, honey or maple syrup, melted butter or coconut oil, eggs and milk. Stir until everything is well combined. In a separate bowl, mix together the salt, cinnamon, baking powder and oats. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly combined. Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top and cooked through in the center. Serve warm with additional honey or maple syrup if desired! Enjoy!.
