Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup cocoa powder

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs, at room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup buttermilk

Chocolate Mousse Filling:

8 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups heavy cream, cold

Directions

Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 9-inch springform pan with parchment and spray with nonstick pan spray.
