2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
2 cups fresh or frozen berries
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar for topping
2 tablespoons all purpose flour for topping
Directions
Adjust oven rack to upper middle position and preheat to 375 degrees F. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan . For the batter, stir butter, brown sugar, and salt in large bowl until creamy. Stir in eggs, one at a time until combined. Stir in yogurt and vanilla.
