Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Directions
In a medium heatproof mixing bowl, combine dried porcini with 2 cups boiling water and let stand 15 minutes. Meanwhile, wash fresh mushrooms and discard any woody stems, such as on cremini and shiitake mushrooms . Thinly slice mushrooms .
