Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

¾ cup sugar

5 large egg yolks

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Combine the milk and cream in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan and bring just to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the heat.
