Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, softened

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons orange juice or lime juice

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3/4 cup guava paste, cut into small cubes or thin slices

Directions

Adjust oven racks to upper third and lower third positions and preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
