Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs, at room temperature

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon chamomile tea leaves, finely ground in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder

¾ cup buttermilk, at room temperature

Directions

Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray 9- by 5-inch loaf pan with baking spray.
