Ingredients
1 pound Canadian bacon or breakfast ham
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix together the Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, ground black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and brown sugar. Place the Canadian bacon or breakfast ham in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and massage it to ensure that all of the meat is evenly coated with the marinade. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat your sous vide water bath to 140°F . Place the bag of Canadian bacon or breakfast ham into the preheated water bath and cook for 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes depending on how thick your slices are. Remove from the sous vide water bath and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
