Ingredients
2 lbs of sauerkraut
1 lb of fresh mushrooms
1 lb of smoked sausage
1/2 lb of bacon
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Drain the sauerkraut, place it in a medium saucepan, and add 2 cups water and bacon pieces. Cover and boil over medium heat for 20 minutes or longer, until the sauerkraut is very tender and the bacon is cooked.
