How to make?
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup water
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Salt to taste
Chopped fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Toss shrimp in a small bowl with 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon ginger and ground red pepper. Let rest 15 minutes.
