How to make?
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
Directions
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened, about 8 minutes. Drain off any excess fat from the skillet. Add the garlic, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened slightly. Toast hamburger buns in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Serve Sloppy Joe mixture on toasted buns with desired toppings such as cheese, lettuce, tomatoes or pickles if desired. Enjoy!.
