8 tablespoons unsalted butter, very soft

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1/2 cup honey

1 cup milk

1 1/4 cups cornmeal

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

Honey Butter:

12 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

2 tablespoons honey


Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan. Whisk butter, sugar, and salt in large bowl until light and creamy. Whisk in eggs until combined. Whisk in honey and milk.
