Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 jalapeños, seeded and diced

2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 cups tomato sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Preheat your broiler , and set a rack 10 inches from the top of the oven. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment.
