Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Zest of 2 lemons
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 egg yolks
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions
In a large bowl, slowly whisk together all ingredients until well combined. If cheese and milk are not already chilled, chill mixture in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
