Ingredients
4 cups fresh blueberries
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice and blueberries. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a jar or container with an airtight lid. Refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. Enjoy!.
