How to make?
Ingredients
4 halibut fillets
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions
Preheat a sous vide water bath to 140°F . In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and olive oil. Mix until combined. Place the halibut fillets in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage it to ensure that all of the fillets are evenly coated with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours. When ready to cook, remove the halibut from the refrigerator and place it in the preheated sous vide water bath for 20 minutes. Remove the halibut from the water bath and pat dry with paper towels. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Once melted, add the halibut fillets and cook for 1 minute per side or until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Serve immediately with your favorite sides!.
