Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds top round beef, thinly sliced
4 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup beef broth
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, plus more for garnish
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the Spaetzle:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
Directions
To tenderize the beef steaks, place them between two sheets of wax paper and pound with a meat mallet. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Dividing mustard evenly between each steak, spread on the surface of one side of meat.
