Ingredients

1 9-inch pre-made graham cracker crust

2 large ripe bananas, sliced

2 tablespoons bourbon

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 cups heavy cream

3 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . Spread the chopped nuts, if using, over the bottom of the graham cracker crust. Bake for 10 minutes and set aside to cool. In a medium bowl, combine the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, heavy cream, nutmeg and cinnamon until smooth. Set aside. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together until melted and combined. Remove from heat and stir in the bourbon. Pour this mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly over the nuts . Arrange banana slices on top of this mixture in an even layer. Pour cream mixture over bananas and spread evenly with a spatula or spoon. Bake for 25 minutes or until center is set when lightly shaken. Allow to cool completely before serving or refrigerating for later use. Enjoy!.
