Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled to room temperature
½ cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Grease an 8- by 4-inch loaf pan with oil and lightly dust with flour, knocking out any excess. Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
