Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, softened
1¾ cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup buttermilk or sour cream
2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
1 package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup white sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
Directions
Adjust oven racks to upper middle and lower middle positions. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F . Use bottom of 9-inch round cake pan to trace 2 circles on 2 sheets of parchment paper. Turn parchment over and place one on each of 2 rimmed baking sheets.
