2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 eggs, separated
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup raspberry jam or jelly
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
Directions
Butter a 2 quart high-sided casserole dish. Adjust oven rack to center position and preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Bring a large kettle of water to a boil.
