1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons instant espresso powder dissolved in 2 tablespoons hot water
2 cups toffee bits
Directions
Adjust oven racks to upper and lower-middle positions and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
