How to make?
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
2/3 cup milk
1 large apple, peeled and diced
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F. In a medium bowl, combine diced apple, milk, cheddar cheese, butter cubes, salt and baking powder. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Add flour to the mixture and stir until just combined . Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1-2 minutes. Roll or pat dough out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into desired shapes using a biscuit cutter or knife. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart from each other. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top and cooked through in the center. Enjoy!.
