Ingredients
1 rack of pork ribs
2 tablespoons Chinese five spice powder
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF . 2. Rub the salt into the ribs. Put them in a Dutch oven or large covered casserole and add the remaining ingredients, mixing them all together. 3. Cover the pot and cook for 2 hours, turning the ribs over two or three times during cooking, so they get evenly coated. 4. After the ribs are fully cooked and tender, remove the lid and return the pot to the oven, letting it cook until the sauce is reduced to your liking. It should take less than 25 minutes for the sauce to thicken.
