Danish Pork Burgers
Savory ground pork patties with onion and saltines cook up golden and tender, with Dijon adding a sharp finish.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 red onion, finely diced
- 16 saltine crackers, crumbled
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Vegetable oil for cooking
- Dijon mustard for serving
Directions
- In a large bowl, use your hands to gently combine the ground pork with the crumbled saltines, onion, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Brush a large nonstick frying pan lightly with vegetable oil, then heat it over medium high. Divide the pork mixture into 8 equal portions. Cook in batches, dropping each portion into the hot pan and leaving space between them so the pan is not crowded.
- Press each portion into a patty with the back of a spoon. Cook until the patties are golden brown, flipping once, for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Serve with Dijon mustard.
