Pasta with Asparagus, Lemon and Pine Nuts Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup pine nuts
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 pound asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 pound pasta
Zest and juice of one lemon
Salt and pepper
Directions
Toast the pine nuts in a skillet over medium heat. It will take about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. Pour the olive oil into the skillet over medium heat. Toss in the garlic and the asparagus. Cook until the asparagus has softened, about 4 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. When it's done, remove from the pot and toss directly into the pan with the asparagus. Cook for a minute. Turn off the heat. Add the lemon juice and zest and season with salt and pepper. Stir until combined. Serve up.
