Ingredients
- 14 ounces all-butter puff pastry, defrosted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, stir the sugar and cinnamon together with a whisk.
- Set the puff pastry on a clean work surface with the long edge of the rectangle facing you. Coat the top with the melted butter.
- Scatter the cinnamon sugar over the pastry in an even layer, then add the raisins over the top.
- Fold the pastry in half horizontally. Slice it vertically into about 12 strips, each 1-inch wide.
- For the first strip, gently pinch or press along the edges so the filling stays tucked inside. Twist it carefully into a spiral, keeping it near the work surface as you go so it is easier to control. Repeat with the remaining strips.
- Move the twists carefully onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake until they are golden, about 30 minutes.
