Cranberry-Apple Relish

Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 sweet red apple, such as Gala or Fuji, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt, plus more to taste

Directions

  1. Add the cranberries, apple, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and salt to the bowl of a food processor with the steel blade in place. Pulse in short bursts until the fruit is chopped into small pieces, pausing as needed to scrape the bowl so everything catches evenly.
  2. Spoon the relish into a serving dish and serve it right away, or cover it in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
