Crunchy Peanut Butter Cereal Bars
Chewy marshmallow cereal bars get a salty-sweet crunch from peanut butter cereal and honey roasted peanuts.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 bag marshmallows
- Pinch salt
- 5 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 5 1/2 cups Captain Crunch Peanut Butter cereal
- 1 cup honey roasted peanuts
Directions
- Coat a 9- by 9-inch pan with grease. In a large saucepan, preferably non-stick, warm the butter over medium-low heat until it is nearly fully melted.
- Add the marshmallows and salt, then cook while stirring until the marshmallows turn smooth and melted. Take the pan off the heat, and mix in the peanut butter until everything is blended.
- Fold in the cereal and peanuts until evenly coated. Right away, transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it into an even layer, smoothing the surface as you go.
- Allow the bars to cool and firm up, about 15 minutes.
