Ingredients
- 12 ounces Nabisco Famous Wafers, crushed
- 13 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips, or chunks
- 1 7-ounce bag shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 1/2 cups whole unblanched almonds
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips, or chunks
- 1 14-ounce can condensed milk
Directions
- Set a rack in the center of the oven and heat it to 350 degrees F. Grease the sides of a pan measuring 13 by 9 by 2 inches.
- Mix the crushed chocolate wafers with the butter, sugar, and salt until the crumbs are evenly damp. Press the mixture firmly across the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the crust. Add the coconut in a layer, then the almonds, and finish with the bittersweet chips. Pour the condensed milk evenly over the top. Bake until the bars are golden and bubbling, about 30 minutes. Move the pan to a wire rack and let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
