rock and roll

June 22nd, 2012

One of the most exciting things about moving from an apartment to a house is starting from scratch with our interior design!  All of our furniture up till now basically fit into two rooms (a necessity of apartment living), so when we suddenly had a living room and dining room and family room and office and bedrooms and all the space that comes with a real house, it was overwhelming in the very best way.

I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a specific style… and then just abandoned that idea and buying pieces that I instantly loved (and hoping for the best).  The moment I saw these vintage Rolling Stones prints, I knew I couldn’t live without them — I took a bit of a risk, ordering them sight-unseen from eBay, but they turned out just amazing.

And the outfit!  How could I forget?  I found this LNA dress and fell in love with it — I’ve been wearing it nonstop, it’s the softest, most comfy cotton and so fun.  Paired with the classic black Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag and some killer heels?  Totally rock and roll. 🙂

LNA Cardiff Cut Out dress, gifted Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Kate Spade and C. Wonder necklaces, Alexis Bittar cuff.
