Ingredients
- 3 lbs. russet potatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 Tbsp seasoning
- 3 Tbsp butter
Directions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into about 1-inch cubes. Add them to the Instant Pot with the chicken broth and whichever seasoning you’re using.
- Lock the lid in place, turn the steam valve to sealed, and choose the Steam setting. It should automatically choose 10 minutes. Let the pot build pressure, cook for 10 minutes, and then let the pressure come down naturally.
- When the pressure has fully released, remove the lid and mash the potatoes right in the pot with a potato masher. Add the butter, then stir or keep mashing until it melts into the potatoes. Taste, then adjust the salt or seasoning however you like.
