Mint Mojito Iced Coffee

Ingredients

  • Garnish
  • Cream

Directions

Make the coffee using whichever method you like best, whether that is pour-over, French press, Aeropress, traditional drip, or another approach. As it brews, put the mint and sweetener into a cocktail shaker or mason jar. With a muddler, or the handle end of a sturdy wooden spoon, press the mint gently until it releases its oils, without smashing it into lots of tiny bits that will end up in your straw. Add ice to the shaker. Pour the hot coffee over the ice, then add a splash of cream if you want it. Put the lid on and shake hard for 15 seconds, until the coffee is fully cold. Pour the iced coffee into your glass, if you are not drinking it from the shaker. Add more ice if it needs it, finish with a mint sprig, and serve cold.
