Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, cut into drumettes and flats
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
- Set the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) so it can heat while you get the wings ready.
- In a roomy mixing bowl, stir the vegetable oil with the salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning until the spices are evenly blended.
- Pour the flour onto a plate or another shallow dish. Coat each chicken wing in the flour, shaking off any excess so the layer stays light.
- Arrange the wings on a parchment- or foil-covered baking sheet. Bake them for 25 minutes, turning them over once at the midpoint.
- Raise the oven heat to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Return the wings to the oven for 10 minutes more, or until they are deeply golden and crisp. Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
