Ingredients
- 1 3/4 Cup Flour
- 3/4 Teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 1/4 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 1/3 Cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2/3 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Cup Mashed Bananas
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter Chips
Directions
Heat your oven to 350. In a small bowl, stir the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt until combined, then keep that nearby. In a large bowl, using either a hand mixer or a stand mixer bowl, beat the butter with the peanut butter until the mixture looks smooth. The butter should be softened first, so let it sit out on the counter for 30-60 minutes before you begin. Mix in the sugar and eggs until everything comes together. Set the mixer to medium speed, add some of the dry mixture, and let it work in until it is nearly blended. Add a spoonful of the mashed banana, mix again, and keep going back and forth between the dry ingredients and the banana, finishing with the banana. Stir in the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Coat a bread pan with cooking spray, preferably a light-colored or glass pan, and scrape in the batter. Bake for 50-60 minutes, loosely covering the top with foil near the end if the crust is getting too dark. Let the bread rest for 5 minutes, then remove it from the pan and place it on a wire rack.
