Pork and Peanut Dragon Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chili garlic sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 6 oz. ramen noodles
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Stir the chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar together in a bowl until you have a smooth sauce.
  2. Put the ground pork in a skillet over medium heat and cook it until no pink remains and it is browned through. Add the sauce you mixed, along with the chopped peanuts, then let the mixture bubble gently for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has cooked down by half.
  3. As the pork browns, start a pot of water for the noodles. When the water reaches a boil, add the noodles and cook them as directed on the package. Drain them in a colander.
  4. When the sauce has reduced and the noodles are drained, transfer the noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated, then finish with the sliced green onions and serve.
