Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup dried fruit
Directions
- Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grab a large bowl and mix the oats with the dried fruit, sea salt, and cinnamon.
- Warm the coconut oil with the honey or maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until they come together.
- Drizzle the melted mixture over the oats, then stir well so everything gets a nice, even coating.
- Tip the granola onto a baking sheet prepared with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, and spread it out. Bake for 15-20 minutes, giving it a stir halfway through so it browns evenly.
- Take the pan out of the oven and let the granola cool completely. Stir in your chopped nuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans, or whatever you like, then keep it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
