Ingredients
- 10 ounces plus 2 ounces dark chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate-covered espresso beans, roughly chopped
Directions
- Set 10 ounces of chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water and melt it, stirring often, until it is completely smooth. Whisk in the instant espresso powder.
- Spread the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet, shaping it into a rough 7-inch by 10-inch rectangle. Return the bowl to the double boiler and melt the remaining 2 ounces chocolate.
- Scatter the chopped espresso beans over the chocolate rectangle and press them in gently. Drizzle the remaining 2 ounces melted chocolate across the top, then use a silicone spatula to smooth it out evenly.
- Let the bark chill in the fridge until firm, 2 hours. Break it into pieces with your hands.
