Maple Baby-Back Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds baby back ribs, separated
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. Set an oven rack in the middle of the oven and heat the oven to 300 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix the ribs with the maple syrup, cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, turning everything together until the ribs are coated. Move the ribs and marinade into a gallon-sized zipper-lock bag and chill for 1 hour.
  2. Arrange the ribs on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake them, flipping every 45 minutes, until the meat is tender, the surface has dried slightly, and the marinade has cooked into a caramelized glaze, about 3 hours total.
  3. Take the ribs out of the oven, rest them for 5 minutes, and serve.
