tropical prints for summer

So much is going on for me this month, and it's killing me to keep it under wraps! (I know it's so annoying to write that, but I promise that I'll tell you guys everything in a few weeks!) After a really crazy beginning of the year, I finally feel like our life is on such an awesome, exciting track -- I find myself waking up in the morning with more energy and more enthusiasm than I've ever had before.
Take, for instance, this outfit -- it's full of stuff that's been in my closet for months, if not years, and yet it feels totally fresh for spring! It's worth remembering that you can be on-trend and stylish without buying a ton of new pieces every season if you choose what you buy carefully -- I bought this skirt for NYFW last year, and I've had the necklace since we lived in New York! Both were under $100 (in fact, I think both were under $50) -- and to update them for this spring, I all I needed was a $19 crop top from Zara. And yet I think this is such a cute, fun outfit -- you'd never know it was a budget steal!
I also added these beautiful Mark. bracelets -- but basically everything from Mark. is a huge steal, so those will never break the bank! And yet they're classic enough that I'll be remixing them for seasons to come -- the best kind of wardrobe addition!
Sabo Skirt neon skirt (similar), Zara corset/bustier, Kenneth Jay Lane necklace (super old, from Gilt), Mark. bracelets.
