who’s that jetsetter behind those Foster Grants?

October 16th, 2012

So, if Chad and I ever manage to jet off to Vegas for a weekend, this is what I plan to wear.  All sequins and trenchcoat, some killer shoes, and huge sunglasses that never fail to make me feel cooler than I actually am.

But that’s the thing about a great outfit — it’s full of great pieces.  This dress could take me out on a Saturday with friends, the trench could slip over jeans and a tank top on a rainy day, and the glasses?  Well, they can basically go anywhere.

And on a totally unrelated note, it just hit me today that Halloween is in two weeks!  I’m so excited to have trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood this year — it’s our first Halloween in a real house!

So even though there’s barely enough time to plan a costume — what are you all dressing up as?

Dress the Population dress, Foster Grant sunglasses, Banana Republic cape (sold out online — similar here).

Love the piping on that coat, such a chic little detail!

I love the way the copper and the trenchcoat accent each other.  You totally look ready to jet set!

That’s so cute! Bummer that the Banana Republic cape with piping is sold out. You can find a really similar one though by searching “cape & piping” on ebay! 🙂

i love how you are wearing the dress a little loose with the leather belt. You styled it better then the website did!

I love the coat! It balances the sequins of the dress and it looks very elegant and chic, indeed. I’m curious about the killer shoes that completed this ensemble though. 🙂
