5 Ingredient Marinated Grilled Salmon
A simple soy, Dijon, garlic and olive oil marinade gives grilled salmon a savory glaze with crisp edges and tender flakes.

Ingredients
- 3 lb. side of salmon,
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic )
- 1/3 cup olive oil,
- 1 Tbsp minced parsley )
Directions
- Set the salmon on a cutting board with the skin facing down, then slice it crosswise into 6 evenly sized pieces. Move the portions to a 13 by 9-inch baking dish, arranging them skin side down.
- In a small bowl, whisk the soy sauce, mustard, garlic and olive oil until the marinade looks smooth and fully blended. Reserve about 2 Tbsp of the mixture, then spoon the rest over the salmon and spread it across the tops. Leave the salmon at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- While the salmon rests, heat the grill to medium-high, about 400 degrees. Scrub the grates clean, then brush them with oil.
- Arrange the salmon on the grill with the skin side down and cook for about 4 minutes. Turn the pieces carefully, rolling them over if that feels easiest, and cook for another 4 minutes, or until done to your liking.
- Take the skin off the salmon, transfer the pieces to plates, and brush them with the reserved 2 Tbsp marinade. Serve warm, with parsley on top if you’d like.
