Baby Birds Nest Pretzels

Ingredients

• 1 recipe Bird's Nest Rolo Pretzels
• 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
• 1 Tbsp butter, softened
• 1 tsp milk
• Yellow and red gel food coloring
• 1 Tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. Make the Bird's Nest Rolo Pretzels as directed. In a small mixing bowl, mash together the powdered sugar, butter and milk with a fork, then stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
2. Add yellow and red food coloring to turn the mixture orange, using more yellow than red, and mix until the color is even. Spoon it into a small ziploc bag, then use scissors to cut a tiny opening from one corner. Pipe little beaks onto the blue Sixlets.
3. Place the chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl and heat them at 50% power in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Use the tip of a wooden toothpick to paint eyes on the Sixlets. Store the Baby Birds Nest Pretzels in an airtight container, arranged in a single layer.
