Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 lemon slices, divided
- 4 sprigs fresh parsley, divided
Directions
- Heat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Cut 4 pieces of aluminum foil into 12-inch squares. In the middle of each square, set 1 sprig of parsley and 1 lemon slice.
- In a small bowl, stir together the salt, pepper, dill weed, onion powder, and garlic powder. Scatter the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillet. Drizzle the olive oil over the top, then add the remaining parsley and lemon slices.
- Set the salmon fillet over the parsley and lemon slices in each foil pouch. Bring the foil up around the salmon and fold it closed so the pouch is sealed. Transfer the pouches to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and reaches 145 degrees F. Serve right away.
