bcbg lunch!

April 15th, 2012

This week, I had SUCH a blast getting to attend a pretty spectacular lunch for Lubov Azria, creative director of BCBG MaxAzria, here in Houston!  One of the things I miss most about New York are the amazing fashion experiences, so it was really special to be invited to such a fabulous event in my new hometown!

And we had such a fabulous time — between drooling over the stunning house of our host, Lucinda Loya, to getting a fashion show preview of BCBG’s beautiful spring collection, to eating an absolutely delicious lunch created by Monica Pope, chef of one of my favorite Houston restaurants!  I’ve been a huge fan of BCBG forever — literally, since college formals! — and their spring collection is one of the best I’ve seen.  Beautiful, flattering pieces that fit into every closet and budget!

And one of my favorite parts of the afternoon was getting to see Lucinda’s gorgeous house — it gave me such incredible decorating inspiration as Chad and I start to think about ours!  I’m sure it will take me years to get everything perfect– but that’s part of the fun!
