Concord Grape Soda Mocktail
A bright homemade grape soda with Concord grape juice, lemon, and sparkling water for a fresh, family-friendly fizz.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Concord grape juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons light agave nectar
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch fine sea salt
- 3 cups chilled sparkling water
- Ice
- Lemon wheels or frozen grapes, for garnish
Directions
- Combine the grape juice, water, agave nectar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt in a small saucepan. Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium heat, then lower the heat and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture tastes concentrated and lightly syrupy.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool for about 15 minutes. Strain out the lemon zest, then refrigerate the syrup until well chilled.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice. Add about 1/3 cup grape syrup to each glass, top with about 1/2 cup chilled sparkling water, and stir gently. Garnish with a lemon wheel or a few frozen grapes.
