foundation tips and tricks (and a giveaway!)

I'm sure you guys remember the COVERGIRL Natureluxe foundation from my Oscars videos -- it provided a smooth, even base for me to recreate Natalie and Mila's gorgeous makeup. But in this video, the foundation is the spotlight -- in it, I show you some tips and tricks to get a flawless, natural look using nothing but foundation.

The thing I love best about the Natureluxe foundation is that it feels SO light -- way lighter than any other foundation I've tried. It doesn't give you that heavy, matted feeling if you wear it all day, so it's basically become my go-to foundation most days since I tried it. It kind of has the feel of a tinted moisturizer combined with the coverage of a foundation, which is pretty amazing.

I don't wear a lot of makeup on a day to day basis, but a great foundation is crucial to look polished, even if you wear nothing else. My skin definitely has its issues -- without foundation to even it out, it can be blotchy and uneven, and I definitely have to touch up my undereye circles on a daily basis. But the trick of really good makeup is to fix all that without making it look like you're wearing makeup -- which is what this video will show you how to do!
