Korean Meat Marinade
A quick soy, sesame, honey and ginger marinade for Korean-style meat, with an easy gochujang option when you want heat.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Spicy:
- 2 teaspoons gochujang, Korean chili paste
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients except the meat in a bowl, then stir until the marinade is smooth and well blended. For the non-spicy version, leave out the chili pepper powder.
- Add the meat to the bowl, turning and separating the slices so the marinade reaches them evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or as long as 1 day before cooking.
