Manhattan Sangria Mocktail
A dark cherry and citrus sangria mocktail with tea, grape juice, and spice for a balanced, grown-up pitcher drink.

Ingredients
- 1 medium orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cup pitted sweet cherries, halved, plus more for garnish
- 2 cups unsweetened tart cherry juice
- 1 1/2 cups red grape juice
- 1 cup strong brewed black tea, chilled
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup, or more to taste
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 small rosemary sprig
- 2 cups chilled sparkling water
- Ice
Directions
- Add the orange slices and halved cherries to a large pitcher. Pour in the tart cherry juice, grape juice, black tea, orange juice, lime juice, and maple syrup, then stir until the maple syrup dissolves.
- Tuck in the cinnamon stick and rosemary sprig. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight. If the rosemary starts to smell very strong, remove it early and leave the cinnamon in place.
- When you are ready to serve, discard the cinnamon stick and rosemary. Stir the sangria base, taste, and add a little more maple syrup if it needs softening.
- Fill glasses with ice and divide the sangria mixture among them. Top each glass with sparkling water and garnish with a cherry.
