Ingredients
- Family sized pack of fried chicken, preferably from Popeye's
- 1 quart peanut or vegetable oil
Directions
- Chill the fried chicken in the refrigerator overnight. The following day, pour the oil into a large Dutch oven, wok, or chicken fryer and bring it to 350 degrees F.
- Gently lower in half of the chicken, or only as many pieces as will sit comfortably in one layer. Fry the chicken, turning it often, until the coating is crisp again and the meat is hot all the way through.
- Move the chicken to a large paper towel-lined plate. Cook the remaining chicken the same way, then serve right away.
